Art of the mix.

Nothing makes me happier than mixing prints, and really pulling them off. I know I pulled this one off when my husband looked at me and said, in shock, "That weirdly works". I feel like I earned a real fashionista badge of honour when I mixed plaid with leopard and stripes! This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I sure love it. Another thing I am in love with...my new hair! I've never been this blonde before, it's fun. I love it with the dark root, and also with the darker brows. It looks great with a red lip - my fave!

Preppy Date Night

I fell in love with the bright, preppy print on these shorts the minute I spotted them (at the grocery store, thanks Joe Fresh!). I paired them with an equally structured and classic white button down. I love it's almost mesh like material; it's that perfect extra detail. I'm totally into the mini bag trend right now, so I grabbed a fresh, white clutch. I added wedges because it was date night, but I think the outfit would be just as cute with some flat, leather sandals for a more casual look :)

Hat: Ardene's. Sleeveless blouse: Suzy Shier (old). Belt: American Eagle (old). Shorts: Joe Fresh. Sandals: Aldo (old). Gold link bracelet: Stella and Dot. Stackable rings: Yair Stern

Thanks for reading! :)

Breezy Blue

I live for the few sneaky days of sunshine that we are getting teased with! I am so ready to dive into my summer wardrobe. Here I paired some of my all time summer favourites, jean jacket and wedges, with a breezy blue dress in a shape I don't normally sport. I loved the fresh colour and pattern of the dress, but I usually favour dresses with a more defined waistline. The jacket was an easy way to create the definition at the waist I like. Then I just warmed the palette up with some neutral accessories. Oh yah! And I also got my haircut! It's a lot shorter (for me) and I love it so far. What do you think?

My phone would not stop ringing during our photoshoot :)

Jacket: Brody Jeans (last seen here). Blue shift dress: Target Canada. Necklace: Stella & Dot. Shoes: Vianna (ooooold, these are cute). Purse: Michael Kors (old, I like this one).
